Terms of Service

Effective date: June 24, 2025.

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of meetmagic.

By creating an account, accessing meetmagic or using any part of the platform or our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies linked from them, including our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use meetmagic.

We may update these terms from time to time. Where required, we will notify registered users of material changes.

1. The meetmagic platform

meetmagic is a trusted business network that helps senior executives share what they are working on, discover relevant peers and expertise, and decide which connections are worth exploring.

Executives may share projects, priorities, challenges, initiatives, areas of focus and other business context with meetmagic.

Partners may tell us where their expertise can be useful.

meetmagic uses this context to identify where there may be a relevant reason for people to connect.

The executive remains in control of whether a connection proceeds.

meetmagic does not sell access to executives and membership, credits or use of the platform do not create an entitlement to speak with any particular executive.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login details confidential and ensure that you have authority to act for any organisation you represent.

2. Membership

Certain meetmagic services require an active paid membership.

An active membership may provide access to Partner functionality, opportunities, connection requests, credits, managed services and other functionality according to the applicable plan or commercial agreement.

Holding credits does not constitute an active membership.

If your membership expires, is cancelled, suspended or otherwise becomes inactive, your account may retain access to self-service functionality made available by meetmagic, but managed services and commercial conversations will cease until the membership is restored.

No Partner-to-Executive commercial conversation may be arranged, scheduled or completed through meetmagic without an active membership.

This applies even where an organisation has unused credits remaining in its account.

3. Credits

Credits may be purchased or allocated to an organisation for use within meetmagic.

Credits are a mechanism for using eligible meetmagic services. They are not currency and do not represent ownership of or entitlement to an executive, project, opportunity, connection or commercial outcome.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law, credits are non-transferable and non-refundable and may be subject to expiry conditions specified in the relevant proposal, order or membership agreement.

Having sufficient credits does not override the requirement to maintain an active membership.

If your membership becomes inactive, unused credits may remain in your account subject to their applicable expiry conditions, but they cannot be used to arrange or complete Partner-to-Executive commercial conversations until an active membership is restored.

4. Self-service and concierge support

meetmagic provides both technology and, for eligible active customers, human support.

Customers with an active membership may receive concierge or managed support according to their membership or commercial agreement. This may include assistance with opportunities, executive connections, research, scheduling, account configuration and other services.

Customers without an active membership are self-service only.

Where a customer has credits but no active membership, meetmagic is not required to provide concierge support, manual executive sourcing, executive outreach, scheduling assistance, opportunity research, account management or other managed services.

Customers may continue to use whatever self-service functionality meetmagic makes available to inactive accounts.

Reactivating an eligible membership may restore managed support.

5. Executive opportunities

Executives may trust meetmagic with information about projects, priorities, challenges, initiatives and other matters they are considering or actively working on.

meetmagic may use this information to identify Partners whose expertise could be relevant.

An opportunity represents a potential reason to connect. It does not represent an invitation to sell, a qualified sales lead, a purchasing commitment or permission to contact the executive outside meetmagic.

Opportunity information must be treated as confidential and used only for its intended purpose within meetmagic.

Partners must not assume or represent that an executive has endorsed, requested, selected or expressed purchasing intent towards their organisation unless the executive has explicitly done so.

6. Revealing opportunities

Certain opportunities may require a Partner to reveal additional information through the platform.

By revealing an opportunity, you acknowledge that the information has been provided in trust and agree to respect the privacy of the executive and their organisation.

Revealing an opportunity does not give you permission to circumvent meetmagic and contact the executive directly.

Where you wish to explore the opportunity, you should request the connection through meetmagic. The executive will decide whether the connection proceeds.

meetmagic may record who revealed an opportunity, when it was revealed and which organisation they represented.

7. Protecting executive trust

The meetmagic community only works when executives can safely share what they are working on without that information becoming another source of unsolicited sales activity.

Users must therefore not use information obtained through meetmagic to send unsolicited emails, LinkedIn messages, telephone calls, text messages or other direct communications to an executive unless the executive has independently given permission for that communication.

Users must not scrape, harvest, copy, export, reproduce, distribute, resell or systematically collect executive or opportunity information from meetmagic.

Users must not share confidential opportunity information outside their authorised organisation or use it for purposes unrelated to the opportunity for which it was provided.

Users must not repeatedly pursue an executive who has declined or ignored a connection request.

Users must not attempt to circumvent meetmagic after discovering an executive, project or opportunity through the platform.

Executive trust takes priority over a Partner’s desire to create a sales opportunity.

8. Abuse of opportunities

meetmagic is not a sales database.

Deliberate misuse of executive or opportunity information is considered a serious breach of these Terms.

Abuse may include unauthorised direct outreach, scraping or harvesting information, circumventing the meetmagic connection process, sharing confidential opportunity information, misrepresenting executive intent, repeatedly pursuing executives who have declined a connection, using information obtained through meetmagic for unrelated prospecting, or otherwise behaving in a way that compromises the privacy, trust or safety of the community.

Where meetmagic reasonably determines that serious or deliberate abuse has occurred, we may immediately suspend or terminate the relevant account without prior notice.

Serious abuse may result in permanent removal from the meetmagic community.

Where we determine that permanent removal is necessary to protect the community, the individual may be prohibited from creating, controlling or using another meetmagic account in the future.

Where appropriate, meetmagic may also suspend or terminate access for the organisation represented by that individual.

Where an account is terminated for serious misuse, unused credits, membership fees or other amounts paid will not be refunded except where required by applicable law.

9. Connections and conversations

meetmagic creates context and reasons for people to connect.

We do not guarantee that an executive will accept a connection request, attend a scheduled conversation, create a commercial opportunity, purchase a product or service, enter into a commercial relationship or produce any particular business outcome.

Executives remain free to accept or decline connections.

Partners are responsible for researching, preparing for and conducting their own conversations professionally.

Once a connection has been made, what comes from the conversation depends on the people involved.

A credit enables participation in the meetmagic model. It does not purchase an executive.

10. Respect for time

Executive and Partner time should be treated with respect.

Users who accept a conversation are expected to attend or provide reasonable notice where circumstances change.

Repeated no-shows, inappropriate behaviour, misleading conduct or other behaviour that damages trust within the community may result in restrictions, suspension or termination of platform access.

meetmagic may return credits, reschedule a conversation or take other action where appropriate, but any such decision remains subject to the relevant membership agreement and these Terms.

11. Fees, billing and cancellation

Fees are charged through our payment provider and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorise meetmagic or its payment provider to charge the applicable membership fees according to your selected plan.

Cancellation, renewal, refunds, minimum commitments and early termination rights may also be governed by an agreed proposal, order form, platform services description or other written commercial agreement.

Cancelling a membership does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund of unused credits or previously paid membership fees.

Where membership is required for a service, cancellation or expiry of membership will prevent further Partner-to-Executive commercial conversations until membership is restored.

13. Acceptable use

You must not misuse meetmagic.

This includes attempting to interfere with platform security, reverse engineering the service, impersonating another person, uploading unlawful content, scraping or reselling platform information, conducting unauthorised direct marketing, sending spam, circumventing platform controls or using meetmagic relationships or information for unsolicited prospecting contrary to these Terms.

You must not use automated tools, bots, scripts or similar technologies to systematically collect information from meetmagic without our written permission.

You must not attempt to bypass restrictions placed on your account or create another account to avoid a suspension or permanent ban.

14. Platform availability

We aim to keep meetmagic available and reliable, but availability may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, internet services, third-party providers, security requirements or technical limitations.

Except for guarantees that cannot legally be excluded, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

We may modify, add, remove or replace platform functionality as meetmagic develops.

15. Intellectual property

The meetmagic platform, software, designs, content, trademarks, technology and related intellectual property belong to meetmagic or its licensors.

You receive only the limited rights necessary to use meetmagic for its intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of meetmagic intellectual property to you.

16. Suspension and termination

meetmagic may restrict, suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has breached these Terms, misused executive information, compromised community trust, created security or privacy risks, failed to pay amounts due or otherwise used the platform in a way that could harm meetmagic, its users or its community.

Where the issue is capable of being corrected, we may choose to provide an opportunity to remedy it.

We are not required to provide such an opportunity where we reasonably consider the conduct serious, deliberate, fraudulent, abusive or damaging to executive trust.

Protection of the community may require immediate action.

Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities arising before termination.

17. Liability and indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, meetmagic is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or business interruption losses arising from use of the platform or relationships created through it.

meetmagic does not control the conduct, decisions or commercial outcomes of individual executives, Partners or other users.

You indemnify meetmagic and its suppliers against losses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the platform, unlawful use of data or information, or violation of applicable law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
