FAQ system
Participation, privacy, meeting expectations, and how donations are made through your time.
How partner listings, credits, introductions, and qualified meetings work.
The essentials: what meetmagic is, where donations go, and how trust is protected.
Platform basics
The core meetmagic model and how partners create commercial and social impact.
Both
What is meetmagic?
meetmagic connects Partners with Executives through paid meetings, where the Partner's payment goes to charity instead of to the Executive. Partners get direct time with people they would struggle to reach otherwise. Executives get useful meetings and generate charitable impact by taking them.
Both
Who's behind meetmagic?
meetmagic was founded by `[TEAM: founder names]` and is based in `[TEAM: location]`. The team combines backgrounds in `[TEAM: 2-3 relevant credentials, e.g. enterprise sales, philanthropy, product]`.
Both
How does meetmagic itself make money?
meetmagic retains a portion of each Partner's payment to cover platform operations. For every dollar a Partner spends, `[TEAM: X]` cents go to the nominated charity and `[TEAM: Y]` cents cover verification, matching, technology, and support. `[CRITICAL — this is the most-scrutinised answer in the whole FAQ. The numbers here must match the "How much reaches the charity?" answer in Donations & impact.]`
Both
Is meetmagic a charity?
No. meetmagic is a for-profit company operating a donation-based introduction model. The charities we donate to are independent organisations. `[VERIFY corporate structure]`
Both
What isn't meetmagic?
We are not a lead generation service, a recruiter, a consulting firm, or a paid speaker platform. Partners don't buy leads. Executives don't get paid.
Both
Where did meetmagic come from?
meetmagic started with a simple observation: senior leaders receive constant pitches they either ignore or take reluctantly, and Partners spend enormous effort trying to reach them. Turning that friction into charitable donations lets both sides get something meaningful from the exchange. `[TEAM: expand with founder-specific origin story]`
Joining as a partner
Partner eligibility, approval, setup, and what happens when an application is reviewed.
Partners
How does a Partner get onto meetmagic?
Apply through the Partner sign-up flow. We'll review your submission to confirm what you sell and who you serve. Once approved, complete your profile and start a 7-day free trial to explore the platform before purchasing credits. `[VERIFY trial mechanic — does trial include a free meeting or browsing only?]`
Partners
What if my Partner application is declined?
We'll tell you why. Most declines relate to fit rather than a permanent no. Once the reasons are resolved, you're welcome to reapply. `[VERIFY — do you actually give reasons? If not, either start doing so or reword.]`
Partners
Can my company have multiple Partner accounts?
Yes. Larger organisations with distinct business units, product lines, or sales teams often maintain separate Partner accounts to keep meetings and reporting cleanly segmented. `[VERIFY — is there a limit? Any pricing implications?]`
Partners
Do I need to be a certain size or stage to list as a Partner?
No minimum size. What matters is having a genuine offering for enterprise or upper mid-market buyers and the capacity to service the relationships you build. `[VERIFY there's no minimum, or add one if there is]`
Meetings
How partner meetings are qualified, managed, and kept relevant.
Partners
Is it possible to request a meeting with a senior leader who is not currently on the platform?
Yes. Send us the leader's name and company, and we'll reach out to invite them. There's no guarantee they'll join, but we've found direct nominations from Partners to be a strong source of new Executives on the platform. `[VERIFY the invitation mechanic exists]`
Partners
After the first meeting, do all meetings need to go through meetmagic?
The first meeting must go through meetmagic. After that, if both parties want to continue the conversation directly, they can. If either party prefers to keep the relationship on the platform, subsequent meetings can be booked with credits and donations. `[CRITICAL — this policy defines the platform's moat and the ethics of the model. Get it locked before publishing, and make sure the Partners-category follow-up answer says exactly the same thing.]`
Partners
What happens if an Executive doesn't show up?
The credit is returned to your account in full, and you can rebook with the same or a different Executive at no additional cost. `[VERIFY refund policy]`
Partners
Can I choose which Executives I want to meet?
Yes. You can browse Executive profiles filtered by industry, seniority, company size, and region, then send meeting requests to specific individuals. `[VERIFY browsing model — is it open browse, matched suggestions, or both?]`
Pricing & credits
Credits, billing, usage, and what partners pay for.
Partners
How does credit pricing work?
meetmagic runs on a credit-based model. You purchase credits and spend them on meetings. Each meeting costs a variable number of credits depending on the Executive's seniority, company size, and other factors. The exact credit cost is shown before you send a request. `[VERIFY the dynamic pricing variables]`
Partners
How much does a credit cost?
Credits are sold in packs starting at `[TEAM: entry pack size and price]`. Larger packs offer better per-credit pricing. Full pricing is on the [plans page]. `[TEAM: fill in pricing tiers]`
Partners
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New Partners get a 7-day free trial to explore the platform, browse Executive profiles, and understand how meetings work. `[VERIFY trial scope — does it include a free meeting, or browse only?]`
Partners
Do credits expire?
No. Credits remain in your account until you use them. `[VERIFY — if credits do expire, state the term clearly]`
Partners
What happens to my credits if a meeting is cancelled?
If the Executive cancels, credits are returned in full regardless of timing. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the meeting, credits are returned in full. Cancellations inside 24 hours forfeit the credit. `[POLICY — must match the answer in the Meetings category verbatim]`
Partners
Do you offer refunds, not just credit back?
Cash refunds are available on unused credits within 14 days of purchase. After that, credits remain in your account indefinitely and can be used at any time. `[VERIFY refund policy and window]`
Partners
Are there volume discounts?
Yes. Larger credit packs offer a lower per-credit price. Organisations with sustained volume can contact us about custom pricing. `[VERIFY discount structure]`
Partners
Can I pay by invoice instead of card?
Yes, for credit purchases above `[TEAM: threshold, e.g. $2,000]`. Contact us to set up invoiced billing. `[VERIFY invoice threshold and process]`
Partners
What currency am I charged in?
Australian dollars (AUD) by default. Partners outside Australia can be invoiced in `[TEAM: supported currencies]` on request. `[VERIFY currency support]`
Partners
Are there any fees beyond the credit purchase?
No. The credit price you see is the total price. There are no additional fees for meetings, for cancellations within the allowed window, or for any account feature. `[CRITICAL — this answer must be true. If there are any fees not covered by credits, list every one of them here.]`
Account & team
Team access, profile management, and account-level questions.
Partners
Do you support single sign-on?
Yes, for Partner accounts on `[TEAM: which plan tier]`. We support `[TEAM: SSO providers, e.g. Google, Microsoft, Okta]`. `[VERIFY SSO availability]`
Partner-specific questions
The detailed partner FAQ set for listing, discovery, matching, and outcomes.
Partners
Why should my company use meetmagic?
You get direct, undivided time with Executives who would otherwise be behind gatekeepers, and every dollar you spend generates real charitable impact rather than disappearing into a CRM. For enterprise sales teams, one meaningful conversation with the right leader is worth more than dozens of cold emails that never get read. `[TEAM: strengthen with a concrete outcome once one is publishable]`
Partners
What kind of Partner is meetmagic best suited for?
Companies with a genuine offering for enterprise or upper mid-market buyers, where the deal size justifies executive-level meetings and where a warm first conversation meaningfully changes the sales cycle. If your average contract value is above `[TEAM: threshold, e.g. $50k]` and your sales cycle involves multiple decision-makers, meetmagic is likely a fit.
Partners
What kind of Partner does this not work for?
Companies looking for lead volume, transactional products with short sales cycles, or anyone hoping to run generic pitches. Executives can tell within two minutes, and poor feedback affects your access to future meetings.
Partners
What outcomes have Partners seen?
`[TEAM: fill with a real number if you have one — average pipeline generated, meeting-to-opportunity conversion, revenue attributed. Even one credible metric changes this answer from marketing to evidence. If the platform is too early for hard numbers, replace with qualitative signals: 3-4 sentences describing the kinds of outcomes Partners report.]` `[CRITICAL]`
Partners
Who can I expect to meet on the platform?
Executives on meetmagic are director-level and above at organisations across `[TEAM: focus industries]`, primarily in Australia and New Zealand with a growing presence in Singapore, the UK, and the US. Company sizes range from mid-market to enterprise, weighted toward `[TEAM: dominant size band]`. `[VERIFY]`
Partners
What's expected of me in a meeting?
Show up on time, have done basic research on the Executive and their company, and treat the conversation as a conversation rather than a demo. Executives are giving you time you didn't have to earn. Respect it.
Partners
What makes a meetmagic pitch work?
Specific, relevant, and short. The best meetings start with what you've noticed about the Executive's business and end with a clear question about whether the problem you solve is one they care about. Personalisation in the request itself is what earns the acceptance in the first place.
Partners
What doesn't work?
Generic decks, product tours, and anything that could have been sent as an email. Executives who feel their time was wasted don't accept follow-ups and rate meetings honestly, which affects your standing on the platform.
Partners
Can I share materials before or after the meeting?
Yes. You can attach a short brief to your meeting request, and after the meeting you can share follow-up materials through the platform. `[VERIFY attachment mechanics and file size limits]`
Partners
Can multiple people from my team join the same meeting?
Yes, if the Executive agrees. Keep the number of Partner-side attendees small — usually one or two people — so the conversation stays focused. `[VERIFY policy]`
Partners
How is my performance as a Partner tracked?
Executives rate meetings after they happen on relevance, respect for their time, and overall quality. Your rolling rating is visible in your account. Higher-rated Partners get better acceptance rates on future requests. `[VERIFY rating dimensions and consequences]`
Partners
What happens if I get poor feedback?
A single poor rating is normal — not every meeting is a fit. A pattern of poor ratings triggers a review of your account, and we'll reach out to discuss what's happening. Sustained poor performance results in account suspension. `[CRITICAL — Partners need to know the rules and Executives need to know feedback matters. State the specific escalation path.]`
Partners
How do you protect confidential materials shared in meetings?
meetmagic does not access or store meeting content. Any materials you share directly with an Executive are governed by the arrangement between you and them, and we recommend using an NDA where confidentiality matters. `[VERIFY approach — enterprise Partners will read this carefully]`
Partners
Can I follow up with an Executive directly after the first meeting?
The first meeting must go through meetmagic. After that, if both parties want to continue directly, they can. If either party prefers to stay on the platform, subsequent meetings can be booked with credits and donations. `[POLICY — must match the "after the first meeting" answer in Meetings, verbatim]`
Partners
How do I get more of my meeting requests accepted?
Write the request as if the Executive is the only person you're sending it to. Personalisation, specificity, and a clear reason it's worth their time consistently outperform volume. A short, well-researched request beats a long, generic one every time.
Share the question with the meetmagic team and we’ll point you to the right next step.
